James Drummond: Polylogarithms, Scattering Amplitudes and Correlation Functions
Abstract: I will describe how polylogarithmic functions arise in the perturbative calculation of scattering amplitudes and correlation functions in N=4 super Yang-Mills theory. These calculations reveal polylogs of multiple variables and Hopf-algebraic tools become very useful in understanding and constructing the physical observables.
